5 recently erected wind wheels form a line along the motorway A63 in South-Germany. The 140 m high constructions are visible even from far distances during the day.
A new lighting design will help to attract attention even at night. The idea is to visualize the energy that is currently generated by the engines. It applies the visual concept of energy bars – known from many applications such as amplifiers, mobile phones – to the towers. The colour of the light indicates from which direction the wind actually comes and the number of illuminated rings shows the wind speed.
